PRODUCT
Fly-Line® is a mono-tube (4” dia) suspended from both appropriate trees and poles by wire cables approximately 1000m in length and taking 15 minutes to traverse.
Visitors are safety-strapped into a specially designed seated sling and travel at gentle, controlled speeds of around 6 – 12 km/hr maximum (which is a medium to fast walking pace).

DESIGN AND OPERATION STANDARDS, MATERIALS, CONSTRUCTION, INFRASTRUCTURE
The Fly-Line® design and the operational standard are according to the European High Ropes Course Standard (EN-15567). The Fly-Line® New Zealand system will be certified additionally to the Australian Amusement Devices Regulations classification.
FLY-LINE® – CARRIAGE EVO2:
SOUNDLESS GLIDING
The Fly-Line® carriage EVO2 is developed and patented by the company Fly-Line® GmbH Italy, and certified by TÜV. The trolley is designed in such a way that it guarantees a moderate constant speed, regardless of the inclination of the route or the weight of the passenger. The visitor is unable to influence the speed, ensuring maximum safety.
The carriage is restrained by centrifugal forces and glides on a carrier pipe made out of stainless steel and permits a secured and controlled descent not faster than 12km/h. The carriage EVO 2 is equipped with two independent centrifugal brakes approved for Fly-Line® systems. The newly developed roller carriage type Evo 2 can be used in wet or dry conditions.

MONORAIL SYSTEM
Fly-Line® combines the characteristics of a zip line, a roller coaster and a summer toboggan. It is made of stainless steel, which winds through the forest in curves and loops. The Monorail system of Fly-Line® is made of a stainless steel tube, certified and according to EN 10296-2 and EN 15562-1.

MINIMUM INTERFERENCE WITH NATURE
The advantage of the Fly-Line® system is the low requirements for the necessary infrastructure. A small take-off and landing platform made out of wood and a small storage office need to be installed. This is also easy to integrate on already developed sites.
Fly-Line® is ecologically friendly with no earthworks or heavy equipment used during construction and there are no direct screw connections to the trees so they can maintain their natural vitality and growth. Tree connections with anchorage points and tension belt (certified for personnel loads) are used.
